Changing electricity suppliers is simple and without power interruption. Subscription is done entirely remotely. To join ALTENS, simply request a quote via our online form. A consultant will contact you to analyze your needs and propose a suitable offer. Once your contract is signed, ALTENS activates it on the agreed date, without interrupting your supply. You do not need to take any steps with your old supplier: termination is automatic. You will simply receive a final bill corresponding to your consumption up to the changeover date.

We primarily offer fixed-price contracts from 1 to 4 years, to meet your purchasing strategy, budgetary objectives, or CSR commitments.
Professional electricity contracts are divided into several segments based on your meter’s power and your connection type.
- C5: power ≤ 36 kVA, low voltage connection. Intended for very small businesses, micro-enterprises, and liberal professions (formerly Blue Tariff).
- C4: power between 36 and 250 kVA, low voltage connection. Suitable for SMEs and mid-sized companies (formerly Yellow Tariff).
- C2: power > 250 kVA, high voltage connection. Concerns industrial sites, large companies, and local authorities (formerly Green Tariff).
- C1: very high power (> 40,000 kVA), direct connection to the high voltage grid with a separate grid access contract (CARD or CART). Intended for large industrial and electro-intensive sites.
The choice of a purchasing strategy depends on your activity, consumption, and objectives. You can opt for:
- a fixed-price contract, to secure your budget;
- an indexed contract, which follows market fluctuations;
- solutions like Corporate PPAs (cPPA) or self-consumption, to have a base of local renewable electricity production and cover part of your needs long-term.
A Guarantee of Origin (GO) is an electronic certificate that attests that a quantity of electricity was produced from a renewable energy source. ALTENS exclusively purchases French Guarantees of Origin, registered in the official registry managed by EEX, ensuring their traceability. Each certificate specifies the energy source, production site, quantity of electricity produced, and production period, ensuring complete traceability.
These identifiers allow for precise localization of your consumption point.
- PDL (Point de Livraison – Delivery Point): identifies an electricity meter.
- PRM (Point de Référence de Mesure – Measurement Reference Point): identifier for Linky meters, used for remote monitoring.
- PCE (Point de Comptage et d’Estimation – Metering and Estimation Point): identifies a gas consumption point.
- RAE (Référence d’Acheminement Électricité – Electricity Routing Reference): reference used for certain electricity contracts.
You will find these numbers on your invoices or contracts. They are essential when subscribing, changing suppliers, or requesting an intervention.
