This public station, using Bio-CNG from agricultural waste anaerobic digestion, will become operational by the end of the year. It will allow for rapid 24\/7 refueling of all vehicle types.  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As part of its strategy to support the <strong>decarbonization of the transport sector<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/altens.fr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Altens, an expert in low-carbon solutions<\/a>, marks a new milestone with the creation of a <strong>Bio-CNG station in Moret-Loing-et-Orvanne<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This station follows the <strong>call for expressions of interest<\/strong> (AMI) launched by the Seine-et-Marne Department, GRDF, NaTran (formerly GRTgaz), the Seine-et-Marne Departmental Energy Syndicate (SDESM), and the Moret-Seine-et-Loing Community of Communes (CCMSL). The Altens station is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seine-et-marne.fr\/fr\/presse\/capmetha77-le-departement-de-seine-et-marne-pionnier-en-matiere-de-methanisation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CapM\u00e9tha77 charter<\/a>, which aims to develop the anaerobic digestion sector in the region. <\/p>\n<p><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7833 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/altens.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/20251010_Inaug_CapMetha_Moret-99-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"signing of the CapMetha charter during the October 10 event at the Altens Bio-CNG station in Moret-Loing-et-Orvanne\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\"><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWith <strong>the CapM\u00e9tha Charter<\/strong>, the Seine-et-Marne Department affirms its <strong>commitment to decarbonized heavy mobility<\/strong>. We already have 13 public Bio-CNG stations and 46 anaerobic digestion units alongside farmers and transporters, and we aim for 30 stations within 5 years. The Moret-Loing-et-Orvanne station, operational by the end of the year, and the Provins project demonstrate this momentum,\u201d<\/em> states <strong>B\u00e9atrice Rucheton<\/strong>, Vice-President of the Seine-et-Marne Department in charge of the environment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7825 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/altens.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/20251010_Inaug_CapMetha_Moret-101-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"signing of the CapMetha charter during the October 10 event at the Altens Bio-CNG station in Moret-Loing-et-Orvanne\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To successfully carry out the project in Moret-Loing-et-Orvanne, <strong>Altens was responsible for the design and installation of the station<\/strong>. The company will also be <strong>responsible for its operation and maintenance<\/strong>, ensuring continuous operational monitoring and a very high level of reliability. The Altens station <strong>will become operational by the end of the year<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>A High-Performance and Accessible Public Station<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Located in the ZAC des Renardi\u00e8res, the station will be <strong>at the heart of the flagship business park of the Moret-Seine-et-Loing Community of Communes<\/strong> (CCMSL), which hosts a wide variety of activities (commerce, industry, services, crafts) and brings together nearly sixty businesses.<\/p>\n<p>It will notably supply:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ile-de-France Mobilit\u00e9s buses, operated by Transdev;<\/li>\n<li>Household waste collection trucks from SMICTOM de la r\u00e9gion de Fontainebleau, operated by V\u00e9olia;<\/li>\n<li>As well as local transporters and fleets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7827 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/altens.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/20251010_Inaug_CapMetha_Moret-212-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"Presentation of the new Altens Bio-CNG station during the October 10 event in Moret-Loing-et-Orvanne\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Equipped with <strong>three dispensing lanes<\/strong>, the Altens Bio-CNG station can accommodate <strong>three vehicles simultaneously<\/strong>, with a capacity of nearly ten heavy goods vehicles per hour. It is designed to <strong>deliver up to 1,000 tons of Bio-CNG per year<\/strong>. Altens offers rapid refueling between 10 and 15 minutes for a full 120 kg tank. These <strong>performances<\/strong> are made possible by NGV1 nozzles (light and utility vehicles), NGV2 nozzles (buses, coaches, road and non-road vehicles, and heavy goods vehicles), as well as two compressors, one of which operates in redundancy to ensure optimal service continuity.   <\/p>\n<p><strong>Open to the public 24\/7<\/strong>, the station will allow users to pay for their fuel with a <strong>wide range of payment cards<\/strong> such as VISA, Eurocard, Altens, and DKV.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>A Strong Commitment to the Environment<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>After the <strong>Guise station<\/strong>, located in Aisne (02), this new Altens Bio-CNG station clearly demonstrates the company&#8217;s ambition to <strong>offer sustainable fuels that meet the needs of freight and passenger transport and local authorities<\/strong>. Bio-CNG is indeed an alternative to diesel, allowing for a <strong>reduction in CO<sub>2 <\/sub>emissions by up to 80%<\/strong>, a reduction in noise pollution with a 50% decrease in sound, and virtually no fine particle emissions. With a distribution capacity of 1,000 tons of Bio-CNG per year, <strong>over 3,000 t CO\u2082e will be avoided annually compared to conventional diesel<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7828 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/altens.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/20251010_Inaug_CapMetha_Moret-209-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"Presentation of the new Altens Bio-CNG station during the October 10 event in Moret-Loing-et-Orvanne\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the Moret-Loing-et-Orvanne station will be able to source its supply from <strong>local biomethane production<\/strong>. The Bio-CNG supplied by Altens comes from <strong>two anaerobic digesters<\/strong>: Biogaz Charmentray (77) and VDMT Biogaz (77). This virtuous approach is based on the <strong>circular economy<\/strong> and supports the <strong>diversification of economic activities<\/strong>, particularly those of farmers.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>We don&#8217;t just simply provide <strong>efficient low-carbon energy<\/strong>; we also want to <strong>build a reliable and sustainable network<\/strong>, designed to meet the operational requirements of transporters.
